The Valentino Park in Turin is located along the banks of the River Po It is certainly the most famous city park of Turin and was taken as a symbol of the city like the Mole. The origin of the name is not precisely known: some speculate that it is of Roman origin, others that it originated from the fact that the site arose in ancient times a chapel dedicated to St. Valentine.
