It is a good plan to start at 50 degrees and later raise the temperature. I am afraid, however, you will not be able to flower them by April 7 unless you can give them a brisker heat. With 60 degrees at night you should be able to flower them in ten to eleven weeks. For Memorial day the plants should be ke^t as dormant as possible until early in March; then place them in a cool house. After Easter they can be given a little more heat. They are, of course, much better in quality if not grown too warm; 50 degrees at night should land them nicely for Memorial day. 0. W. ROSES FOR FORCING '• THE J. & P.
