To Welcome Delegates. Elaborate preparations are being made by the Kansas City Florists' Club for the reception of delegates who will stop over here on their way home from the F. T. D. convention. At a meeting of the club October 7, in the office of the T. J. Noll Floral Co., William L. Rock was instructed to invite the members to hold their next convention in Kansas City. Mr. Eock will also invite all the members who come this way to stop over for the meeting of the local club October 15. The store of the W. L. Rock Co. will be used for the affair and a flower show will be arranged in addi- tion to a program and social features. All growers, wholesalers and retailers are being encouraged to display any- thing of particular merit that they may have. Officers of the Missouri and Kan- sas florists' and horticultural societies have been asked to attend. The com- mittee on exhibits is composed of T. J. Noll, Henry Kusik, P. A. Manson, L. R. Bohannon, William Wade, A. F. Barbe and Adolph Mohr. Various Notes. William L. Rock left for Indianapolis October 10.
