After having danced and sung a sufri- xIf, from any cause, the fire became extinguished, it could only be relightedin one of two ways: from the Spirit, that is, from a tree set on fire by lightning: orwith blood; the latter meant, that an attendant at the Temple where the fire hadbecome extinguished, must journey to another Temple where the sacred fire was kept,and obtain some of it.
