Kominato Beach is removed from the main populated area of Chichijima and so is lacking in amenities, so this beach is less frequented than some of the others on Chichijima Island (though this merely adds to its charm).With smooth, pure white sand and gorgeous azure blue water that stretches for miles, the beach is well worth the effort it takes to reach. In the summer months, you might be lucky enough to spot sea turtles laying eggs or colonies of hermit crabs. There is also less coral in the water here, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely stress-free swim.
