They carry the princely miniature portraits of Johann August from Anhalt-Zerbst (1617-1742, Reg. 1718-1742) and his wife Friederike of Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg (1675-1709). The piece is one of the exceptionally rare glasses whose cold-mounted jewelry is at least partially obtained from enamelled gold sheet.
