The cafe building where memorial services used to take place was destroyed by missile attacks. Missile strikes on the village of Groza, Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region, which was carried out on 5 October 2023, and it was one of the bloodiest attacks during invasion. A shop and a cafe were attacked, and the attack occurred when locals had gathered for a memorial service at the cafe. Fifty-nine people were killed and five were wounded.
