Sgt. Serif Ullah, Afghan National Police from the second precinct, stands watch during a key leader engagement between Texas Agribusiness Development Team IV and Sayeed Abdul Basir, mayor of Ghazni, about Shams Village slaughterhouse Dec. 2. The team visited the site to conduct an inspection of Afghanistan's oversight of slaughterhouse facilities and to plan an expansion project for spring 2011. Large animals from all over Ghazni City are processed at this location making it important to keep the facility in running condition.
