Air Force Staff Sgt. James Morin, a 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron electrical and environmental systems craftsman, takes a thermal image of a bleed air duct at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., March 1, 2019. As part of the wing’s ‘Fuel Tank’ innovation program, thermal imaging cameras have been approved and implemented recently to quickly determine faulty parts based on inconsistent heat signatures on a KC-135 Stratotanker. Morin is one of five thermography certified technicians at MacDill.
