There was another Salvation Army officer,whose name I have forgotten; but who, for ashort time, was a patient in one of the wards ofour Khetwadi Castle Hospital. She was a littlenative woman, and a convert from had become a raving maniac, and no oneabout the place could manage her except , whose wonderful tact and skill did notfail her in this most difficult case. My Hin-du, Mohammedan and Parsee patients seemed toappreciate and enjoy these services quite asmuch as did the Christian patients. Indeed, ourdear httle Zubedah Beebee was never willing towait until Sunday; but often, during the week,she would beg me to pray with her; and when Idid so, kneeling at her bedside, she nearly alwayswept, holding my hand tightly within her owntwo tiny palms, and seemed to make the prayerher own. Afterward she used to say, Howbeautiful it is to hear you pray, it does megood, it makes me better. During the two years, less fourteen days, fromJune 15, 1887, to June 1, 1889, while our Khet-wadi Castle Hospital was open, we treated avery large number of patient
