Eureka Stakes, five furlongs, fur two-year-olds, has a long list of entries, and the probable starters are Miss Mitfordj Kyrle D., Carmen, Tom Yum, Geraldine, Peregrine, Guida and Snowdrop. They will make a grand race, and it will be another struggle between the Haggin and Todhunter Stables. The Cuyarna 8takes is a valuable prize, and as the handicaps haVe been ekillfnlly made the list of acceptances should be liberal; Amelia, Shasta, Afgo, Ninena, Moonlight, Del Sorte, Modesto, Jou Jou should ma'se a gallant struggle; and as some of the new winners of the meeting will start with liRbt weights, the mile should be a merry one, and anybody's race until the wire is parsed: The event of the day and of the meeting will be Pacific Stakes, a handi- cap for all ages.
