Gibbs Mew Moonraker Brown Ale bottle label - 1989 - 1991. Gibbs Mew began brewing in 1898 when the Gibbs family and the Mew family merged, although both families were brewing long before the merger. The company sold the brewery in 1997 and were then taken over by Enterprise Inns in 1998.
