His complexionis saved from the sallow by a pervasive warm tinge, and aslight sandy-blond mustache faintly covers his thin upper is shown head and chest, facing the right, three-quartersfront, against a background of deep olive verging at the leftupon olive-yellow, and the light is evenly distributed upon hisfeatures. His apparel is heavy material of a red-brown tone,chestnut-red in the shadows of the folds, the coat buttoningto the neck, where an ornate lace collar comes into view, heldtight to the neck by a jewel of gold.
