This modern Statue of the Virgin Mary is in the Parish Church of our Lady of Mercy in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The church was built 20 Years ago and it is a Carmelite church. This is a beautiful modern Church that is in a small square and has impressive statues. The church is a Roman Catholic Church which serves the people of the parishes of Fuengirola and Los Boliches. The Carmelite Order developed from a group of hermits in thirteenth-century Palestine with priests and lay people living a community life of prayer .
