The seventhsegment of the body is very short, as is also the basaldivision of the tail, whereas the terminal division of thelatter is of large size, rounded behind, entire, and armedat each side with the greatly elongated, curved, lateralappendages, the outer division of which is setose, andthe inner appears to be obsolete, or very minute.
