Moon over Vancouver, time-exposure image. The longer exposure means that the unlit portion of the Moon is visible here, and the stars of the constellation of Orion are seen at upper centre. Vancouver is located on the western coast of Canada, in British Columbia, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. As of 2006, Vancouver's metropolitan area had a population of over 2 million people. The bridge at lower left is Lions Gate Bridge, a suspension bridge that crosses Burrard Inlet from the city behind it.
