Atthis last concert the friends of Debussy were so exuberant in mani-festations of delight that there was sharp hissing as a corrective. The first performance of the three Nocturnes in the United Stateswas at a Chickering Production Concert in Boston, February 10,1904, when B. J. Lang conducted. The Nocturnes were playedtwice at this concert. Nocturnes Nos. 1 and 2 were played by the BEACH7660.
