Major General William G. Haan, commander of the 32nd Division, questioning German officers captured on October 9th, 1918, by troops from the 63rd Infantry Brigade. The officers were cooperative, providing valuable information when questioned by the General. The photograph was taken in the Argonne Woods, near Montfaucon, Meuse, France.
