Ditropan incontinence drug, tablets and packaging. Generically known as oxybutynin hydrochloride, this drug is also marketed as Oxytrol, Ditrospam and Lyrinel XL. It is an anticholinergic medication used to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties, including frequent urination and inability to control urination (urge incontinence), by decreasing muscle spasms of the bladder. It is also used to treat hyperactive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
