Early stages of building Cuajone copper mining complex with mine trucks at a staging base Peruvian Andes 1972


The early workshop and vehicle area during the first stages of development for the Cuajone Copper image from 1972 shows access road network, dump trucks, maintenance work buildings and a view of the type of location before the mine came into production in 1976. The mine is owned by Southern Peru Copper corporation and today Cuajone is the biggest in Peru.
