That round-headed tree, with dark rich Portui]^al laurel foliao'e, airano'ed in stars at the end of each twig, is the Mango, always a beautiful object, whether in orchard or in open Bread In the West Indies, as far as I have seen, the Mango has not yet reached the huge size of its ancestors in Hiudostan. There—to judge, at least, from photographs—the jMango must be indeed the queen of trees; growing to the size of the largest English oak, and keeping always the round oak- like form.
