Upon arrival in Francehe was sent for further training to anA. E. F. school, and upon completion ofthe course, assigned to the 102nd Infan-try, Vi^ith vshich regiment he remaineduntil he met instant death in the village ofEpideas, near Chateau Thierry. Lieuten-ant Middaugh was married to Miss BerthaBucknell on September 1 2, 1 905, who,with one son, John Stuart Middaugh,aged seven years, survives. He is alsosurvived by his parents, Mr. and
