A ghost bike in Greenwich, London, England

This bike at the corner of Vanbrugh Hill and Woolwich Road in East Greenwich commemorates the death of Stella Chandler who was fatally injured at the spot by a HGV turning left. Ghost bikes, marking the spot where a cyclist has been killed, appear to have originated with an art project in San Francisco in 2002 by Jo Slota.
