Veterans, including some from the South Carolina National Guard, who have served throughout the world during our nations history, joined Richland Northeast High School to celebrate Valentines for Veterans Feb. 14, 2013 at the high school in Columbia, This was the third annual Valentine’s program, inviting veterans from all services and campaigns. Students brought in homemade treats for the Veterans, and everyone participated in a “speed-dating” style of story sharing. Veterans sat at tables, and a group of students would spend 15-20 minutes with a veteran, then the students would move on
