R^V. H. K. BOWER Rev. IT. K. Bower is a native ofI-ewisburg, having been born in De-cember, 1870. He attended the publicschools of his town, later BucknellX:niversity and his theological. Rev. H. K. Bower 292 course was taken at Crozier He graduated from CrozTer inthe spring of 1903, after which hecame to Mount Union, where, withthe helv) cf a few faithful people heorganized the Baptist ccngregation,of which he wa: ordained pastor, July29, 1903. Rev. Bower was pastor, inaddition to the Mount Union charge,cf the Shirleysburg, Orbisonia andMill Creek churches for severalyears. He preached his farewell ser-mon in Mount Union, Oct. 1, 1908, atwhich time he accepted a call tothe First Baptist chrch of York, is now pastor cf ahe First Bap-tist church of Philipsburg, Pa.
