The yellow-bellied macaw or blue-and-yellow macaw (Ara ararauna) is a macaw that occurs from Central America to Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. This species can measure up to 90 cm in length, with blue upper parts and yellow underparts, green top of the head, rows of facial feathers and black throat. It is also known by the names of yellow macaw, araraí, araraúna, canindé macaw and arari.
