Gen Thomas Jonathan Jackson born Jan. 21 1824 Clarksburg Va. -died May 10 1863 Guinea Station Va Stonewall Jackson died of friendly fire in the battle of Chancellorsville. This statue stands on top of Henry House Hill near the spot where he earned the nickname Stonewall: There stands Jackson like a stone wall! (the words of Gen. Barnard Bee). Sculptor: Joseph Pollia (1938-1940). Jackson possibly had Asperger syndrome.
