Kidderminster, UK. 10th December, 2019. Kidderminster Homebase store sadly heads towards its last day of trading with the loss of 23 jobs at the site. Despite being given a stay of execution back in April 2018 when 42 other stores were listed for closure as part of the company's Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) insolvency procedure, the struggling DIY chain confirmed that the Kidderminster branch would be closing its doors for the final time on 20th December - due to unsustainable rental costs and declining sales/profits.
