Flowers of what is thought to be Square-Stalked St. John's Wort / Hypericum tetrapterum = H. quadratum growing in damp ground. Read additional notes.

Initially thought this was Marsh St. John's Wort / Hypericum elodes considering the soggy ground these were living in, but this colony of plants have square 'winged' stalks. MSJT is also more hairy, and the leaves rounded - also some of the top step leaves in these plants were not very pointed. The square 4-winged stem does it for me though. Synonymous with Hypericum quadratum,& Hypericum acutum.
