A grand variety for preserving, retaining its flavor in a wonderful degree when canned. CHESAPEAKE. (Late, Perfect.) This variety was first offered in 1906 and has made a great record for itself, being grown all over the United States, giving the best results in all sections. It is not a variety that sets an immense quantity of fruit, but every blossom makes a berry, every berry being well developed and strictly fancy, of good color and without any green tips.
