Swiss player Roger Federer (SUI) celebrates winning the 2009 Wimbledon men's singles title with the silver gilt trophy outside the entrance to the Royal Box. His 5–7, 7–6(6), 7–6(5), 3–6, 16–14 victory over American player Andy Roddick (USA) saw Federer set a new record for the number of career grand slam wins overtaking previous record holder American Pete Sampras (USA) by setting the new mark of fifteen career grand slam men's singles titles.
