Air Force Master Sgt. Julius Simmons and Tech. Sgt. Scott Golden, bio-environmental engineering technicians with the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard, lead a team in analyzing inhalation risks during subterranean warfare training on June 19, 2018 at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The Airmen also consulted with civilian contractors to ensure air quality during tunnel incursion training. The 177th Medical Group is accomplishing annual training requirements while also helping to support the Army mission in Alaska.
