San Juan de Fuentes1 or San Juan les Fonts is a Spanish municipality in the province of Gerona located in the Catalan region of La Garrocha. Until 1949 the municipality was known as Begudá. It is part of the natural park of the La Garrocha Volcanic Zone. It is the second municipality in La Garrocha with the most inhabitants (after Olot), with about 3,000. It is located at the point of confluence that connects Gerona with Olot, Figueras and Camprodon. It is crossed by the Fluviá River, which has been the engine of the industrial development of the population. Industry is the most developed sector in the municipality. It also has agriculture.
