Sint Servatius basilica in Maastricht

Steeple and bell tower of the Sint Servatius Basilica. The Sint Servatius Basilica (a Roman Catholic church) is a Romanesque structure built on the site of the Grave of Saint Servatius. It was built in several stages during the 11th and 12th centuries. This church is located on the Vrijthof in Maastricht, standing side by side with the Protestant Sint-Janskerk, forming what for the Netherlands is a unique "kerkentweeling" (church twin)
