He was married, in June, 1854, to Amelia Brooks,of Orange, who died on the 10th of April, 1864,aged thirty years. By this union he had one child,—Lizzie Amelia, born on the 15th of January, 1864. For his second wife he married Katie P., daughterof Horace Gleason, of Chelsea, Mass. She was bornon the 8th of August, 1839. To them have beenborn two children, viz.: Milton James, born ,1871, and died Aug. 11,1872; and Loren Glea-son, born April 12, Llvi Kilburn.
