A view of picturesque Guanghua Temple
I stumbled upon this beautiful temple when I was wandering on Yu'er Hutong. It was not mentioned in any guide book, and it turned out to be the highlight of my week in Beijing. Monks played ping pong at a table in one of the court yards, locals came to pray, and cats stretched out in the sun. The atmosphere here was calm and just beautiful. This place is a true gem.
