Wild Eurasian lynx cub sleeping in a den in Dinaric forest on Croatian-Slovenian border
This is one of the two cubs of radio-collared female lynx "Dina" (the other cub is not visible in the photo, as it was hiding in a small hollow behind). They were photographed during the inspection by biologists. They were found in a small limestone cavern in rocky area with very rugged terrain in Dinaric forest. When the photo was taken they were three weeks old. Gender couldn't have been determined, but will be known when the genetic analysis is completed.
