Tofino, on the West Coast of Vancouver Island is the gateway to the Pacific Rim National Park, whale watching, north temperate rainforests, surfing, kayaking, hot springs and marine biodiversity. Several outfits in Tofino provide access to the activities in the area, many of which can be reached only via boat. A number of house boat are located in the Deadman Islets near Tofino.
