Balikli Gol is a pool in Sanliurfa, Turkey. According to one of the legends, at this place the Prophet Abraham was thrown into fire by Nimrod, but flames were turned into water and logs into carps. Carps are considered sacred nowadays and pilgrims come to feed them.
