The latter passeda strong resolution in favor of the Henry Georgeland theories. The Alliance, however, has latelycondemned the single tax system. So that theystep over the threshold of union with a quarrelbrewing. There is nothing in the secret and des-potic methods of the Knights of Labor to attractan honest farmer, or to gain for him any substan-tial victory in the reforms that are of especialimportance to American agriculture.
