Anal vesicles thin-walled, unbranched, blind-ending tubesopening into rectum (Fig. 6). Right anal vesicle of Inhaca specimen two-thirdslength of trunk, without ciliated funnels. Left vesicle approximately one-quarterlength of trunk with tiny unstalked funnels on distal third. Right anal vesicle ofsmaller specimen from Park Rynie almost as long as trunk; left one less than one-third trunk length.

Both vesicles in larger specimen almost equal to trunk length;ciliated funnels present on vesicles of both specimens. Gonoducts. Gonoducts two pairs, located posterior to ventral setae (Fig. 7).Gonoducts of Inhaca specimen considerably distended due to presence ofnumerous ova. Gonostomal lips long, spirally coiled (Fig. 7). Openings ofgonostomes basal in position. Both specimens from Park Rynie oval in smaller specimen, somewhat elongate in larger 5 mm Fig. 7. Ochetostoma baronii. Neuro-intestinal vessels paired, elongate, connecting dorsaland ventral vessels by means of intestinal ring sinus (Fig. 7). Ring sinus located atend of foregut. Interbasal muscle passes through loop of neuro-intestinal vessel weakly coiled with numerous small dilatations, passes anteriorlyand enters proboscis. Ventral vessel continues posteriorly, beside nerve cord, terminating in region of rectal caecum. Remarks The present specimens of O. baronii represent new records for the southernAfrican region, extending the range of distribution southwards from the Zanzibarcoast. According to Greeff (1879), the trunk is up to 80 mm in length, dark green incolour with violet longitudinal muscle bands and white papillae scattered over thesurface. The longit
