BARR Mother Mary Barr died at her home on Spring street, Mondayevening, June 10, 1907, at 9 oclock, from the infirmities of old was the oldest woman living in Dauphin county, and was in goodhealth and possession of all her faculties almost up to the time of herdeath. When but a child of only a couple years, she was taken by herparents in a buggy from her home across the Allegheny mountainsto Pittsburgh, which even at that time was known as a city. At theage of fifteen years she made the return journey to her home in Manortownship alone, and made her home there until about sixty years ago,when she came to Middletown.
