Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Berlin, a member of the Coast Guard International Ice Patrol, holds a wreath during a ceremony held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on April 21, 2022, for the lives lost in the 1912 Titanic tragedy. The wreaths were thrown from the back of an HC-130 Hercules airplane and are a symbol of respect for the 1,504 lives lost in the sinking of the Titanic.
