The Queen Elizabeth II Great Court, The British Museum, Great Russell Street London. Designed by Foster & Partners, the Great Court is the largest covered public square in Europe. The British Museum has over sixty galleries which are free to visit. Founded in 1753, it opened its doors to the public in 1759 and was the first national museum to cover all fields of human knowledge.
