During the latter part of the great war Mr. Muhlen-kamp took charge of the out-patients dental departmentat Guys Hospital. Mr. Newman began his after-school careerat the bench in the works of Messrs. Napier, at Acton, goingthence to the Roval Aircraft Pactorv, Aldershot, and thento Messrs, J. Kcill, of Bond Street. He then founded hispresent business, which quickly became successful andrapidly expanded. Mr. Newman now claims that hisbusiness handles more second-hand cars than any otherfirm in this country, and that it deals more largely than anyother in tyres.
