The woman washes her hands, after placing the rotlo on the pan tightly to roast, so that she can turn it as it starts to get brown patches. Food is always cooked in open veranda in villages. Normally one rotlo is enough for youngsters and two or more are rotla can be eaten by adults doing hard work.
