Their mission is to provide a vigorous fire prevention program and professional emergency response forces geared toward reducing loss of life, environmental impact and property damage within the Sahel Region of West Africa. In order to accomplish the mission, the firefighters participate in daily training to maintain proficiency in fire, rescue and EMS skill sets. Buddy's home station is with the Wyoming Air National Guard, 153rd Airlift Wing. Golden's home station is with the Alabama Air National Guard, 187th Fighter Wing. Lauer's is stationed at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland with the 316th Wing.
