Blued three-stage barrel, octagonal breech section, then faceted changing to round, with patent breechblock, silver bead, and smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. Gold-inlaid decoration and the signature, "Des Chasaux A Paris" over the breech. Flintlock cut with floral designs and another signature. The walnut full stock carved with floral designs and tendrils, chequered small of the stock and iron furniture cut en suite. Original whalebone ramrod with horn tip and brass shoe. Beautiful c,
