Jemmy Button, the Fuegian 'adopted' by the expedition, as he appeared in 1834 after his return to his tribe. From Robert Fitzroy 'Narrative of the Surveying Voyages of His Majesty's Ships Adventure and Beagle' Vol II, London 1839. Fitzroy was captain of the Beagle on the circumnavigation when Charles Darwin was the naturalist.
