Jerusalem cherries were abundant and were good sellers. They varied greatly in price, according to quality and size. Cyclamens were numerous, although the quality was not the best. The pink, lavender and red sold well, while the white flowers were not so popular. Various Notes. The Smith & Young Co. disposed of over 10,000 roses in less than three days. Thursday before Christmas was the largest day the company had ever ex- perienced. Greene's Flower Shop had an excel- lent Christmas trade. The business was considerably larger this year than last. Mr. Greene sold everything but a few of the cheaper plants. Bertermann Bros. Co. reported Christ- mas business was good, that plants were in heavier demand than cut flowers, but that prices were not so high this year as they were last. A. Wiegand's Sons Co. had an at- tractive Christmas window. To the back and at each side were bay trees made almost solid with artificial poinsettias. With these and greens as a background, the front of the window was elaborately decorated with real poinsettias both in cut blooms an
